Who We Are
OUR STORY
HHIEA first started in 2020 as "The Hobby Horse International Eventing Association".
During the first year, the format followed more so an eventing type of scenario, where riders competed both in dressage and show jumping. Cross country wasn't really a thing for online competitions. Our shows kept going through 2020 and 2021, where in 2021 we hosted our first Hobby Horse Olympics. Riders from multiple countries participated, with countries having their own teams. We were inactive in 2022, but returned for our last season in 2023.
Now we're working on making a comeback in 2025! We're working on building some exciting partnerships to hopefully make 2025 our best season yet.
