Dressage
DRESS CODE - RIDER
The rider may want to wear pants and a short sleeved shirt, though pants may be replaced with shorts.
Long hair should be restrained with a high ponytail or a low bun. Hair must be out of rider's face for maximum focus of the rider, though if you have something like bangs, etc., those would be fine.
DRESS CODE - HORSE
Horses must have proper tack. We accept the following bridles/nosebands: Flash noseband, double bridle, cavesson noseband. Double bridles are preferred.
The dressage horse's mane must be plaited, or braided (although plaits are preferred). The mane may be decorated.
Double bridles are the only tack that may be used on your horse. Blinders, martingales, breastplates, earnets, fly masks, etc. are banned.

*First Error: +2 faults
*Second Error: +4 faults
*Third Error: Elimination
(Applies to tests and freestyles)
*Wrong Tack: +2 faults
*Noticeably Broken Tack: Elimination
Season Points for Scores
Earning a good score on your dressage freestyle can earn you season points to add to your ranking, on top of placing points!
Points to be earned for Total Dressage Score:
00.0%-19.0%: 0.0 points
10.0%-19.0%: 0.5 points
20.0%-49.0%: 1.5 points
50.0%-79.0%: 2.0 points
80.0%-89.0%: 2.5 points
90.0%-100%: 3.0 points
