Hunters
DRESS CODE - RIDERS
Riders are recommended to wear a T-shirt and sports shorts. All rider protective equipment is allowed, as long as it is not restricting and does not pose a safety hazard.
Long hair should be tied into a high ponytail or a bun.
DRESS CODE - HORSES
Most bridles are allowed, but dressage bridles and double dressage bridles are banned from events. Halters also may never be used, but hackamores are allowed. English-riding breastplates and martingales are also acceptable for competitive use within HHIEA show jumping/hunters.
INFORMATION

Rushing the course (i.e., galloping at any part before the jump) may result in a lower score.
Lead changes on the flat and over fences are required in all levels except H001. Flat hunter rounds may be required for some competitions as well.

*Knocked rail: +4 faults
*Slower than gait allowance: +2 faults per 0.1s
