Here is an explanation of all maneuvers necessary to compete!

WALK-IN: This basic maneuver is introduced in the R*P level. It's very simple - the horse must simply walk down the centreline to begin the choreograph.

JOG-IN: This maneuver is introduced in the R*1 level, and consists of jogging down the centreline to begin the choreograph.

CIRCLES: In this R*1 maneuver, the horse will simply be doing circles. This is different from the Spin.

HESITATIONS: Hesitations serve to show how well the horse can stand still, and this maneuver is required in all choreographs of level R*1 or above.

RUN DOWNS & RUN AROUNDS: This R*2 maneuvers are simply running down the centreline of the arena and running around the arena. This should show speed, stamina and control.

SPINS: This R*3 maneuver can take a lot of time to master. Riders should be able to spin in 360º. One foot should remain in place while the other boosts the body into a circle. Riders should be able to run in straight lines when finished, so they must gain a tolerance to not be dizzy.

ROLLBACK: Rollbacks should be performed at speeds of a canter or gallop and consist of stopping and switching directions.
